According to the legend, the first loaf of bread was baked by the ancient Egyptian, who accidentally left a mixture of flour and water in a warm oven overnight. When he opened the oven, he found soft dough, from which the bread was baked, and it was much more appetizing than solid pellets that he had prepared for himself before. It was 7500 years ago. According to the Russian proverb, bread is a head of everything. A certain kind of bread was baked at every holiday. For example, round loaf was prepared on the wedding, on Easter people usually prepare Easter cake, also during the fasting special bread was made. Nowadays few people bake bread by themselves. It is a pity. Because nothing can compare with the smell of freshly baked homemade bread. You will be shocked by the flavor, which comes from freshly baked bread, if you will spare 1 day to make it.

I chose a few recipes for you about bread baking. In all these recipes instead of ordinary water mineral water is used, which is good for dough. The important thing is that you have to use water with natural mineralization, such as Borjomi. Make sure that this water has room temperature.

Recipe number 1

Simple fast bread

Friable, with a lot of holes and with a thin crispy crust.


250 ml of aerated mineral water,

50 g of rye flour

250 g of wheat flour

1 tsp. of sugar

1 tsp. of salt

1 / 4 tsp. of ground coriander

0.5 tsp. of dry yeast

2 tsp. of olive oil


Mix two types of flour, add yeast.

Dissolve salt and sugar in aerated water, add the coriander and half of the flour mixture. Knead the smooth dough using mixer.

Gradually add all the flour mixture, continue to knead until the dough begins to come off of the cookware.

Gather the dough into a ball, add olive oil to the dough. Cover with a package and remain it in a warm place. After increasing in size by twice, put the dough on a cutting surface and it knead by hands, form a loaf, put it on a clean dry baking sheet and let it rise in warm place. When the loaf increases in size, bake it at 200 degrees about 35-40 minutes. Then cool on wire rack.

Recipe number 2

2 medium sized loaves of delicious «fluffy» bread will need such quantity of ingredients:


360 ml of aerated mineral water

30-50 grams of softened butter

1 package (10 grams) of dry yeast

6 tbsp of sugar

2 tsp of salt

2-3 cups of flour


Make leavened dough:

Mix 1 cup of flour with dried yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Open mineral water and immediately pour it into the flour, knead it well and cover with food film and leave it to «bubble». Once leavened dough goes down after a maximum lift, that will mean that it is ready.

In the finished dough add 4 tablespoons of sugar, salt and 1 cup of flour. Start to knead dough by hands until it will be smooth. Add oil and continue to knead. While kneading add flour until the dough becomes soft, elastic and a bit sticky (otherwise it would not be well, so be careful with the flour). Powder the dough with flour, cover with food film again and put in a warm place.

After 1 hour the dough increases 3 times, so divide it into 2 pieces and bake. Baking dish filled with 1 / 2 of dough, remain it for 10 minutes and bake in preheated to 200 degrees oven. It will take 30 minutes to bake 1 loaf.

Put out the bread from the oven, cover it with a towel and allow to cool. The bread has distinct texture on the cut and it is very soft and tender.

Recipe № 3

Lenten bread by the monastery recipe

It’s a very simple recipe of bread with vegetables. Make purée of any vegetables that you like. For example, boil potatoes or pumpkin or carrots in salted water and make a puree. Vegetable supplements should be one part, and flour — three parts. Pour mineral water in this mixture carefully and make dough. After kneading roll out into thin flatbreads and put on a baking sheet powdered with flour. Put in oven (200 degrees) for 1 hour.
