This diet is popular among American film stars, and therefore it has got such name. Caloric content of the Hollywood diet is about 600-800 calories.
Hollywood diet can be used 1-2 times a year. But it shouldn’t be used for more than during two weeks. Usually weight loss during this diet for the course is 5 kg.
Daily ration consists of eggs, beef, poultry and fish (cooked without fat), nonfat cottage cheese, oranges, grapefruits and some vegetables.
Diet severely restricts the consumption of salt and starchy foods, dough products and bread. Fats and vegetable oil are excluded.
Breakfast always consists of 1-2 oranges, a cup of tea or coffee. Dinner and supper have few variants.
The 1st day
Dinner — 2 oranges, 2 hard boiled eggs, 1 tomato, 40 g of almonds and coffee.
Supper — 1 cutlet, 1 tomato, 6 slices of cucumber, salad without sugar and vegetable oil, 1 grapefruit.
The 2nd day
Dinner — Hungarian 1 egg (egg in a spoon for a few seconds is set in boiling water), 1 grapefruit, black coffee.
Supper — 150 grams of beef cooked without fat, green salad without sugar and vegetable oil, unsweetened tea.
The 3rd day
Dinner — fried egg cooked without fat, 2 tomatoes, 150 grams of boiled cabbage, black coffee.
Supper — 150 grams of fish fillet cooked without fat, ketchup, cucumber, unsweetened tea or mineral water.
The 4th day
Dinner — 1 grapefruit, celery with grated cabbage and dressing of yogurt and 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, tea or water.
Supper — 1 hard-boiled egg, 140 g of low-fat cottage cheese with sweet pepper and cumin seeds, 100 grams of grated raw carrots with lemon juice without sugar.
The 5th day
Dinner — 2 boiled whites of egg, 100 grams of celery or parsley, tea or coffee without sugar.
Supper — 200 grams of boiled chicken without skin, green salad.
The 6th day
Dinner — fruit salad with grated apples, oranges, grapefruits and 20 grams of nuts.
Supper — 150-200 g of cooked fish fillet, 60 g of stewed mushrooms and a beverage.
The 7th day
Dinner — 100 g of low-fat cottage cheese with raw beaten quail egg, vegetable broth with garlic, no potatoes.
Supper — fruit salad, yogurt, beverage.
Products equivalent to the content of certain food ingredients and caloric content can be interchangeable.
