Scientists from Canada conducted a series of investigations and made the conclusion: caffeine increases the negative effects of fats on blood vessels.
The mechanism is as follows: the consumption of fatty products leads to an increase of sugar in blood, and caffeine thickens the blood and prevents the absorption processing of sugar and fat.
The experiment showed that the consumption of coffee and fatty foods at the same time increases the level of sugar in blood of healthy people so that it can be compared with the level of sugar in blood of diabetic patients.
That’s why nutritionists recommend to give up the habit of having coffee during lunch or dinner. It is better to drink mineral water or green tea instead of coffee.
